Frank Edward Marshall
Position – Development & Construction Director
As the son of a family business man, Edward started visiting building sites and quarries as a baby. Growing up with this situation ingrained a deep knowledge and love of building and quarrying. After school his path became clear and an HND in Construction was completed followed by a degree in Construction management. During the years of education Edward worked as a quarry labourer, a stone saw yard operative, a brick layer and brickie’s labourer and ground worker. While at University he worked as a trainee quantity surveyor for local Liverpool building contractor FJ Brereton.

After nearly 2 years he returned to the family firm to run the quarrying operations as the 5th generation in this sector. Over 10 years the quarries were built up through investment and strong sales, to the 3rd largest producer of Yorkshire stone.
