The family company was established in 1926 in Brighouse, West Yorkshire and has been controlled by the family for the following generations.
Primarily involved in the investment, development & construction of commercial property, traditionally specialising in industrial buildings but with diversity into the office & retail sectors.
Founded by FE Marshall… a diverse group of construction related companies did works including House building, demolition, contracting, quarrying, rail maintenance and waste management. However, in the generation that followed ES Marshall specialised into quarrying, house building and speculative industrial development. The current generation has again changed the focus of the business into commercial property development & investment across the different sectors.
Over its trading life FME has undertaken all aspects of commercial property development from new build to the redevelopment of old or dilapidated building to a modern standard. We aim to provide business spaces for all types of business at and at a full range of rents.

The company has diversified into office development in Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield as well as retail holdings around the West Yorkshire area.
